Introduction to the use of PET cylinder materials:
PET is a milky or pre-yellow highly crystalline polymer with a smooth and shiny surface. Good creep resistance, fatigue resistance, friction resistance and dimensional stability, small wear and high hardness, and high toughness in thermoplastics; good electrical insulation performance, less affected by temperature, but poor corona resistance. Non-toxic, weather resistance, good chemical resistance stability, low water absorption, weak acid and organic solvents resistance, but not hot water immersion, alkali resistance.
PET in the traditional field is mainly used for fibers and has a history of 53 years. A small amount is used for films and engineering plastics. The engineering plastic resin can be divided into two categories: non-engineering plastic grade and engineering plastic grade.
1. Non-engineering plastic use: mainly used for bottles, films, sheets, baking-resistant food containers, etc.
2. Non-fiber use: It was previously introduced by Kodak as a substrate for photographic film.
